We believe certain private sector actors have a great opportunity to assist those with less access to knowledge and systems that dictate one’s future. Thus, we are committed to providing the highest quality of representation possible to all clients, whether corporates or pro bono individuals.

A list of past pro bono accomplishments include the following:

  • Complete victory at trial in asylum proceeding in L.A. for a mother and her three young children from Mexico who were victims of drug-related violence.
  • Obtained relief from immigration proceedings for individuals from earthquake-ravaged areas or in debt collection proceedings for servicemembers victimized by financial frauds.
  • Contributed to drafting sections of the Microfinance CEO Working Group’s Model Law and Commentary for Financial Consumer Protection.
  • Achieved favorable results in death penalty litigation (at original trial level), human trafficking litigation (in federal court in D.C.), and post-conviction petitions of actual innocence based on new DNA blood evidence.

We will prioritize projects involving financial inclusion and asylum, because everyone should have a fair chance to identify and develop their natural talents.
